Jenny Naish

September 28 & 29th, 2023 Jenny performed in a collaborative visual, literary and theatre art creation ‘The Juniper Tree’  at the Barbara Barrett Theatre, Arts & Culture Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland. Jenny composed the  bird's song from the Grimm's Fairy Tale 'The Juniper Tree' - thank you O'Brien's Music for having instruments, stands, beautiful straps and magical tuners downtown St. John's! The visual artist creators, producers and performers Kelly Jane Bruton and Mitzi Pappas-Smyth bravely told their stories of domestic abuse and genocide. Jenny was the performer for Mitzi's grandmother's story as she had fled Turkey as a young girl and her son, Mitzi's father, ended up working at the army base all the way here in St. John's. Alongside Jenny, Mitzi & Kelly was the fabulous actor Bridget Wareham and dancer supreme Andrea Tucker. Script consultation and direction by Meghan Greeley. Amazing lighting design by Tiffany Roberts and stage management by the superb Kelly Lewis!  Workshop director Jeannette Lambermont-Morey. Art work and props by Kelly & Mitzi.
